Our Christmas in Bulacan

We spent our Christmas in Bulacan. We went there on the 24th and back only yesterday afternoon. On the road, it is very surprising to see that there is no traffic along the way. Ang sarap ng feelings. We safely arrived at around 11am.

As our pot luck for the Noche Buena, we brought fish and pork meat to grill, shrimp for sinigang and ensaldang mangga to match. I was able to run also that afternoon with my SIL for 2kms and played Patintero with kids...Great sweat! Yun nga lang after that, kain mode na naman.

In the evening, kids are always asking us what time will be the gifts be distributed. They kept on pestering us to open it na, haaay kids, they felt that they are waiting a lifetime to 12 midnight. So we decided that when the two visitors of my SIL left, gifts will finally be distributed.

Asaran mode and happiness naman. FIL gave us all an "ampao" envelope with 1k inside! So kami ang me pinakamalaking nakuha, 5 heads kami and a total of 5k agad yun, yahoooo! Plus the Kinesis batalya of a mountain bike was also handed to us para buuin namin, simply wow!

At di ako nakapag photo shoot while we are having fun! Waaah…

But most of all, the experience we had is enough for us to remember it in our hearts.

Truly treasured.

And yesterday, I was able to capture this while we are heading home to South…#priceless

Thank you Jesus for sharing Your special birthday with us by celebrating it with our loved ones and friends, through gift giving, sharing our laughter’s and love with one another.

You are the center of our life.

Again we greet You again a Happy Happy Birthday, Papa Jesus

The ups and down of pag TITIPID…

My next BIG move for the year 2014 maybe is to save more. Nope, not maybe, it should be. The thing that is nakakainis is when you cut some unnecessary expenses biglang me darating na pagkakagastusan.

Yun lang.

Anyway, aside from cost-cutting mode, I need to think up small business or racket din.

We have 3 cellphone lines to maintain. And recently, the one line we have is already cut because we’ve already served the 2-year contract. Tuwang tuwa akech! You see, 1000 per month din yung isang line nay un. Actually I’m thinking to avail the smart promo for iPhone 4s worth Php 800 ata per month but when the husband starts thinking of a gift for my MIL, he decided to avail again a plan worth 400/month with a new cellphone. 1000 less 400, tsk tsk, not bad pa rin. Ok go.

Gumuhong pangarap.

Then our internet line called me one night and proudly informed us that they will reduce our monthly bill from 999 to 800 something ata. Uy, uy, uy…another great step of making tipid, huh. Barya barya nga lang.

Teka ano pa ba?

Ah yun, we’ve been watching local tv network for 14 years (yeah, naka survive kami sa tele novela at chismisan ng Channel 2, malabo kasi si Channel 7) and the husband is delighted to announce that the Royal cable waved the installation fee when you avail their promo not until Dec 19. Ayun, pakabit agad si Mister. Additional cost per month is Php 400+ something. Dami ng choices of channels eh. Walking Dead S4 na pala.

The monthly tuition fee of my kids also reduced, wit! wit! tapos na kmi sa youngest namin kaya the two remaining kids na lang ang continue to pay. Thank goodness.

Tapos si Meralco naman nag taas! From 11/kwh ata to 14/kwh. High raising hair, MY GOLLY!  gusto kong mag mura.

And pag nabili na yung van namin, we will buy daw again a car like Vios (2nd hand lang, though we were instructed to get a brand new with an amortization cost of Php 12K or else forfeited ang promo ng sponsor hehehe). We opt to buy 2nd hand, ayaw namin ng me binabayaran monthly.

Kaya bawal magkasakit, bawal mag resign, bawal tatamad tamad.

Hi Boss, mag oovertime na ako to the max!

Dahil walang savings na mangyayari, 'day!

Korek?!?!

Christmas Shopping Loot…

I love December! Oh, yes, everybody loves this month. It is when you have to do more shopping, more eating great foods and more reunions with love ones and friends. Plus ang daming sale sa mall!

And atlast, we were able to complete the outfit for the kids. We were at Festival Mall last Thursday and we grabbed some nice outfit for them, for the hubby and some things for the friends as a gift. I don’t buy shirt and pants for me, bag lang na pang office so that my two year old Reebok bag will be able to get a nice vacation muna, kawawa naman and a nice sandals he he he syet, ang sexy ng paa ko, promise.
my pang kartero bag...

Tsaka I’m planning to do some extensive exercise next year kaya malamang papayat ako kaya sayang lang kung buy pa ako ngayon… #asapa.

Basta, promise.

Here it goes…

Petit Monde is selling clothes for teens and women and I was surprised when one of their pants size 26 in waistline fitted perfectly for my 11 years old kid. Teens na ba ang 11 years old? From its original price of 1, 399.00, I scored this pant for only Php 700.00! Great savings, di ba?

This naman is bought at Cinderella for my only son. Best price at Php 820.00.
Na-inlove ako sa Esprit pants there, sale din kaso walang size *dut dut* waistline for me tapos puro skinny pa! Mala palo-palo kaya legs ko, hmp! Hay naku, next year talaga, I promised myself makakabili na ako ng small sizes.

Dito sa Girbaud kami nawindang. When you buy 3 items above, you’ll get 50% off from its original price! Happy si mister, he bought 2 pants agad while ako naman is bags (oy di sakin lahat yan, one is for me and the other one is a gift to a friend).

There’s also a tiangge at the center open area inside the mall, different items were being sold. We love sweets kaya we picked chocolate cake and a chocolate balls. Yummy!

We opted to eat at KFC, ok naman sa kids aside from Jollibee na feeling ko tutubuan na ako ng galis at mag so showdown ala Jollibee dance steps kakakain dun.

This short trip to the mall binds us also as family. Kids enjoyed the shopping galore kahit kating kati na silang bumili ng toys.

And now, eto ang pinagkaka abalahan ko, mag balot ng gifts!

Last word:
Purchases --> pricey, Bonding Moment --> PRICELESS

A Dance Number for HIM...

We love to see kids wearing white dresses and performing dance number on a Sunday Children’s Mass in our church. All of us mass goers are really getting inspired singing the Ama Namin because of them. Ang galing galing kasi, knowing that they are just in their elementary years pero they performed gracefully in front of so many people of different lives. And we believe that they are doing this for the Lord.

Nakakataba ng puso.

And our wish came true one day. One of our kids was chosen to present a simple dance number with the group! It was happened during the first communion of the Grade 3 students of their school. She is in Grade 2 pa lang.

While everybody is singing Papuri sa Diyos, girls in white dress including my youngest kid is there in front of the altar.

Aaaaaw, big girl na si bunso. Even though it is just a one time performance, we are proud of you, kid.
