I Survived the 5km Fun Run...

Yes, we did it!

We were able to run the 5km marathon last Sunday in Canlubang that was sponsored by the San Sebastian College-Recolletos and in partners with Gardenia, Suzuki and Morning Fields Carmeltown.

The kids and I woke up as early as 4am. Once they are all prepared, ginising na rin si H. By 5am, along with the 2 kids of our neighbor (who is also joining the marathon), we left the house using our van. Shocking! The father of the two kids na kasama namin lend us their own car to use. The mister took the driving. Akala nga naming late na kami kasi ang gunstart should be 6am as indicated at the leaflets.

Ang daming participants! Mga pulis, employees of different companies, students and outsiders. Ang saya!

We go straight to the registration booth to claim our shinglet and number. We left my three kids at the side of the school building with the other kids there. Ang lamig talaga, ano? Buti na lang we have our jackets on.
After the introduction and welcoming the participants on stage, nag Zumba moment muna to do some stretching and gisingin ang mga natutulog na taba este katawan. Everbody are all smiling, all of us are very excited, ang saya ng feelings kahit di mo kilala sila. He he he.

Then, gun start na!

Waaaah!

5km ba? Pero di ako pwedeng tumigil kasi lahat even the oldies and fat ones are trying their best to run kahit in slow motion. Hala, naiwan na ako ni hubby, waaah. Pero madami pa rin namang nasa likod ko kaya I’m not that worried na mahuli sa finish line.

After the first lap nasalubong na namin ang mga kapulisan going to the finish line! Anak ng teteng! Pero sa kakisigan nila, it is inevitable that they will finish it in time.

Go, go, go!...Takbo pa rin, madami naman pa kami eh.

And now..tadaaaaan! Finish line!!! Yahooooo! I SURVIVE!

We go straight to the canteen to eat while smiling from ears to ears.

Actually me free food and drinks sa booth pero we opted not to get one sa sobrang haba ng pila. There’s also a two photobooth free for everyone, carts selling pica-pica foods and drinks, displayed motors of different models from Suzuki to attract buyers and a big Gardenia balloon standing at the ground. Very festive ang school. Buti na lang kasama mga junakis ko.
Kahit di sila tumakbo atleast they were able to experience this kind of events at big school .

Haaay, thank God for this wonderful event. Thank God for all the participants who are all friendly and supportive to everyone else. Thank God for being healthy. Thank God for the opportunities.

And again…Thank You, Papa God to all.

Next marathon?

Eyelashes and Pizza with Sistah...

Saturday is an exhausting day for me. Workload siguro dami dami rin. Kaya I dropped by at my sisters house after work. We talked about beauty products, dress, body figure, house anik anik and anything under the sun for two hours. Nakaka refresh and unwind ang kwentuhang magkapatid.

I noticed her curled eyelash, ang ganda kasi and nanibago ako kasi alam kong wala syang mahabang eyelashes. She said went to Lavish at SM the other week to do the eyelash extension for only Php 500.00. It is good for one month or less if properly cared then if it is already worn out, you can avail their re-touch for only Php 200 as maintenance.

Nabuhay ang malalaki nyang eyes, dati mukhang alien sya ngayon dyosa na…Ang galing, nice idea ha, I’ll try it soon. Nakaka ganda eh.

Anyway, I bought two boxes of Joey Pepperoni Pizza with different flavors as my treat to our kwentuhan. One box is for my kids pala as pasalubong.

I left around 8pm, me Fun run pa kasi ako the other day. Will post it separately about it.

That’s all…

Marathon, Massage ...and what else?

The hubby told me the other day that we will be joining a marathon this coming weekend. As if I don’t have the right to say “no” for an answer, he already decided, di ba? A 5 km marathon that the San Sebastian College in Canlubang will sponsor with a registration fee of Php 450.00. I asked him if there’s a free breakfast din, hehe…joke lang.

If this will happen, this will be my first big event for this year. MARATHON…yeebah!

Intensive work out na to. Double time muna ako sa jogging sa umaga and some weight lifting in the evening with the mister to tone up muscles. It’s good ha, aside from getting into shape nakakalakas ng katawan and kilos ko bumibilis, mga ineng.

Two days ago is my last session of diamond peel with Dermcare which is in promo thru Metrodeal last year. Yup, 5 sessions din yun and best buy ko na rin for myself. After that, I passed by a massage corner using an electronic chair. I tried the 15 minutes for Php 50.00 only and it was good.

And today, I asked our worker here at the office to massage my legs during break.

And take a look with my wall here! Me pagbabago na, chos!

Gotta go, kulugo!

Make over and Hossein Resto...

I was thinking to get my work station a makeover look. How? I don’t know…hehe.

Maybe I should start at the wall on my left side. Very plain and no touch of some artistic design. Papers are just pasted there as a reminder. The big calendar that I used to cut then paste also is very noticeable. Ang lalaki ng numbers hehe.

I was thinking also to put a frame with a saying/quote like this…
google

How about the small papers pasted there? I should make na lang a wall board with a simple design out from scratch. Madami namang cartons here to cut. The design? Google ko na lang din.

Tama, I should concentrate muna on my wall. That’s it.

Anyway, lemme share you one of my favorite resto in town...Hossein!
I've been there for 4 times na ata. Good Arabic food but pricey too. I love their Saffron rice, Lamb Keema, Naan and they have also Thai food like Tom Yum Goong...Kakaiba ano?

Lamb Keema, Plain Naan
Safron Rice
Nakakagutom...

That's it.
