Fun Run and Turtle Neck....

The weather this morning is fine so I was about to jog sana for a few rounds. I’m already on my jogging outfit when I saw uniformed runners are making their way in front of our house. Nyek, me Fun Run ata, di ko alam today na pala yon. So I grabbed my camera and took some pictures of them.

Nakakatuwa, some kids are also present with their matching uniforms. Some are walking na while the others are so energetic naman. Me nagbibigay rin ng water on one side of the street.

Mister   : Dapat nakatawa sila lahat…
Me         : Kasi Fun Run kaya dapat talaga nakatawa?...

After 20 minutes I took a shower na and dressed. Since malamig ang panahon, I decided to wear my turtle neck black shirt and my eldest daughter said…

N : Me snow? Me snow?

O kitam, ke babait kausap ano?

Happy Saturday to all!

Magazzziiines...bow wow wow!

I’m currently hooked reading back issues magazines nowadays. Why the old one? It’s cheap, half of the original price, laking tipid but still informative. Plus when my kids need cut out pictures for their assignments at school, I don’t feel hurt slashing pages for them.

Before, I used to buy mags about fashion, housekeeping, home ideas, recipes and tipid tips. I love home decor ideas and how to organized clutters at home. You see, when you have three kids in a row you can imagine how messy your house will get. Of course I let them do all their stuff, it helps them to enhance their imaginations and skills but when they are finished with their work, that’s it. Rambol na ang mga gamit.

Back to my magazine issue.

These are my collections of it. Me health issues din and pang sports. Very useful and entertaining.
May 2013 issue, and August na ngayon kaya I consider this as old na rin hehehe...
These are naman the mags that I used to cut pages for kids. I still keep them for future use.

And now, pang business naman ang binibili ko since last week. Feeling ko andito ang answers to all my prayers na yumaman, hehehehe, feeling lang.
Kaya Booksale, thank you sayo. Aside from it helps me to sleep fast at night while reading, it gives me a lot of opportunities how to stay in shape, business ideas, release stress, recharge my mind and refresh tired souls. Dig mo ba?

Enjoy reading, guys!

Ang Canteen…bow!

We were grateful to have a canteen inside our plant. It’s been almost 8 years since it started that we are able to eat good food with it. We don’t have to prepare baon and bring in foods because the canteen already has a variety of food to select.

But as time goes by, nag deteriorate ang canteen.
she said: luge ako, we said: mas luge kami
Most of the time there are only two menus available at lunch, or there’s a shortage of cooked rice during break time. And the worst we experienced is no food at all.

Nakakainit ng ulo, di ba?

Especially to those workers who is into shifting schedule. You see, they worked all night long lifting large boxes using their powers and sweat big time. They are the hungriest people on earth…chika lang.

Anong nangyare, ate?

These are some of my thoughts why businesses like this go down.

  • 1.     Owners didn’t control his expenses according to his daily living. Bagong gadgets, shoes, damit or kotse. You can buy a car but you must think also that it should also be used in business like van or a multi cab or tricycle muna. Of course, sino bang me gusto ng bagong gadgets, lahat tayo, but still you should know how much money do you have and how much ang dapat iwan sa store para mai revolve mo yung needs.

  • 2.        You should not buy groceries at Malls. By golly! Dapat dun sa sa wholesaler like Puregold and in palengke wherein good finds are affordable and cheap.

  • 3.       Be friendly, maalalahanin, pa cute, makwento, kwela and entertain your customers well.

  • 4.       Food should be tasted before you sell it. Me free bangaw pang lumalangoy langoy. Ano yan, pasas?

  • 5.       Keep your records in tact and updated. O kitam, me chain effect yan pag magaspang ang attitude mo.

I will conduct interviews pa with my fellow countryman here and update this as soon ma-collate ko na lahat.

For now, yan pa lang ang naiisip kong methods to improve your businesses like canteen or anything you have right now. Tips lang yan and nasasayo naman how to improve all other aspects para long term ang relationships.

Right now, wala kaming canteen and I will make kwento na lang on my next post how we survived this crisis until now.

Malunggay Pandesal…bow!

It’s raining uncontrollably yesterday, schools are cancelled that’s why kids are jumping with joy. And we adults had to go to work in spite of the bad weather outside.

After the long hours of work, H and I decided to buy malunggay pandesal along the highway. The bakery's name is Budong Malunggay Pandesal.

A long line awaits us before we could buy Php 50.00 of it. Dami talagang gutom pag tag ulan, bakit kaya ganon?

And atlast eto na sya…
It is crispy, hot, malaman and malinamnam. At 2 pesos each solved na solved na kami.

I also bought pieces at work today, and sa isang iglap nag disappear din. Di ko pa rin napicturan kaya I tried to google it na lang for you to see what its look like and their establishment.

Moving Forward...

I’m into updating my current status as a supervisor today. While reading my entire job description, editing and adding some work depiction I stopped and think for awhile. Hey, 11 years of doing this and still I haven’t got any chance of attending any particular seminars and explore exhibits in related to my fields.

Wait, as I recalled, yes, I attended two in-house seminars and happened to see an exhibits in World Expo three years ago! Tsk, tsk, tsk…You see naman kung gaano ako ka busy here, I handled two manufacturing plants with different needs, order fulfillment and priorities. You can imagine the workload I have everyday. But I’m not complaining, I love my job, it is very challenging.

But I learned from a friend that a continue education is a must by attending a discussion group and other stuff that is related to our job. Not by only experience we learned from our day to day practice. We should also explore other helpful courses for us to develop, gain good working knowledge and strategies at work.

So I grabbed a pen and a computer, googled some reputable schools that offers courses thru seminars, list down all possible key topics and within my budget cost because I know the company I have right now is not that open to employees to attend and pay all the expenses. *feeling sad* but It’s ok, I understand the situation naman, cost cutting.

Hhmmm, expensive din pala. Seminars are ranging from Php 3,000 to Php 20,000 nowadays. Pero pwede na, need to save up more for this, promise.

Right now, I listed some schools and institution that offers seminars, their schedules, course outline, cost and duration. My target date is early next year, hopefully. With that, I think I’m ready enough to face the additional expenses he he he.

In the end, I will benefit naman from this, di ba?
