An Ode to this Little Kid...at Palengke

Just enjoying her task, smiling

Slippers inside the box she’s trying

Making them proud and gleaming

Bata pa lang masipag na, di ba? Sana ganyan lahat ng kids, aside sa paglalaro at pag aaral, kids also should be like this, masipag at tumutulong sa parents.

Grooming…

A super busy mommy like me wasn’t able to bathe and comb our shih tzu dog regularly.  I let our house helper to do it once a week plus the other three dogs we have in the house. Dami naming dog pala. Kawawa naman si inday, matulungan na nga next week at baka mag alas balutan pa, mahirap na.

So, ang kwento yesterday is we scheduled Flavio to Pet Care Parlor for pa pogi look. 

Daming tangles ng bruho.

We left the house at 1:20pm to attend the children's mass, but before that we dropped Flavio sa grooming specialist nya.

Inside the car, he seemed to enjoy the ride, mukhang Oscar the Grouch na talaga sya.

H entered the establishments with my youngest daughter, A, and said to the manong “papa groom ko sana to” pointing to A. 

Trip lang mag joke ni H.

After two hours, the parlor texted saying that Flavio is ready for pick up na. We were all quiet inside the car and thinking what his looks will be after that. We were excited to see his new look especially my eldest daughter who is very fond of dogs.

Lo and behold! 

Is that really our dog, kuya?

My N was speechless, of course. Shocked naman ako. Skin head kasi halos si pogi eh.

Anyway, it’s ok at least tangle free na sya and I bought him hair brush that cost our pocket Php 190.00. Shocked again with the price, ano. Pang aso pa lang yan.

There he is, sad and thinking. 

And at night, heto na sya, enjoying the bed and his Piglets stuffed toy. Cute isn’t?

Butterfly and all...

Seeing this outside is very rewarding. When you lived in an urban area, you hardly see butterflies wandering around the plants nowadays. I captured the li’l creatures with my cellphone camera before it flew away. Kids are ecstatic and kept on asking if they can touch it, of course I said no. As per the old folks saying, butterflies scale easily came off and resembling into powder that when you rub it on eyes you’ll get blind. 

Pero sabi naman ni Matang Lawin a.k.a Kuya Kim it’s not. They are not harmful. But then, I wont let my kids pa rin, he he he.

KJ lang.

Thank God for this beautiful creature and my kids were able to see it before they are gone for good.

Next, we were able to eat at Barrio Fiesta again after a year at SM Sta. Rosa. Photo op inside the car muna. 

As usual, we ordered Kare-kare, one whole fried chicken, leche flan, rice and drinks. Wasn’t able to take pictures of the food kasi Tom Jones na rin kami. After that, grocery time na. H bought basketball for my li’l boy kaya when we got home dumadagundong ang floor kaka dribble ni kuya B.

Ang tiles ko, waaah!

All of these kaganapan happened last Saturday lang.

Ang Sunday? 

We just stayed at home.

• ·         Trip to: Thailand, Bohol, Vigan, Sagada and Batanes

• ·         Loose weight (140lbs to 135lbs) and tone up muscles

• ·         Cartwheel! (oh, I want learn how to do that, please!!!)

• ·         Assemble mountain bike (oh yeah!)

• ·         Business venture (food or clothing line)

• ·         Christmas day celebration in Baguio

• ·         A nice and handy camera (yeah we have, three pa nga, but a very old one *sniff*)

• ·         Need to save up…more and more moolah!

Whew! These maybe a long list but still I know in myself that these are not yet the complete inventory of what I want, need, to do, dreams, to have before everything else. 

Ayaw gumana ng utak ko today. Very slow ang lahat, parang cellphone ko na kanina pang umaga naka charge and until now di pa full bar, urg!

Nevertheless, I will update na lang ‘to pag hindi na ako nahahawa sa kaantukan ng boss kong natutulog sa table nya, ngork, ngork…
