Before 2013 ends kwento...

2014!!!

Such a great feelings indeed. Ewan ko ba bakit pag start of the year lagi it is when you have the energy to make plans and resolutions for the whole year. Iba talaga pag January 1 na, aside from being busy and getting fat (sa dami ng food), yung pakiramdam na ang gaan gaan na and ang daming pina plan for the next days and months that will come. I hope all of my resolutions and wishlist here are erased before 2014 ends, he he he.o, ok... I promised to follow my resolutions first.

Our trip to Tanay last Sunday is surely one kind of a thing. We were able to spend some bonding moments with the kids and the kids at heart. Though it is already late to eat our lunch there, the Adobo (pambansang ulam) is also a winner. Kids participated in questions and answer prepared by Sister Alma (my FIL’s only sister) and we, adults, enjoyed the game prepared also by her. We laughed until we dropped, really. Always fun especially with my SIL funny antics.
our simple gifts to all the Carmelites Sisters in Tanay, toka toka kami what to donate (us are laundry brush, soap and powder)

Before our night ends, we ate at Yang Chow in Centris, which is along Edsa lang. Good food, affordable and you won’t disappoint.

The next morning, we left North to go to South. We bought some “pailaw” muna in Bocaue and my golly! Traffic was horrible. But we managed to buy some. Sabi nga ng intsik this is to drive away bad spirit and negative vibes naman. Sho! Sho! Sho!

Mister: How much I’m going to spend for the lusis and other pailaw?
Me: Php 200.00 lang, with sukli, ha?
Mister: *kamot ulo*

Haaaay, di nasunod ang budget, naka Php 1, 050.00 din pero in fairness mas madami kaming nabilli compare to last year when we buy at tabi-tabi in our area.

New years eve...
We have these at our table...

Every December eto na ang month na naglalaho ang mga helper, vacay mode din sila. Kaya some of our food are bought like hopia and tikoy at Echaque Bakery in A. Bonifacio Road and fruits at wet & dry market. Mahalia Mendez sa mall ang fruits eh.

To 2013, thank you for all the experiences we've been through. It made us strong, in many ways and in any sense.

We are hoping that 2014 will be a great year for us.

Let’s pray and thank Him...always.
