Being a Mom…

Why others are so mean with what they saw on a person? They are so judgmental. They didn’t even know what others are having every now and then, di ba? Especially to a mom who happens to be working on her career and trying to be a mom to her family when at home, ganung level. They thought it is easy to be like that. 

Moms are the most caring person on earth. I agree. They always thought of the welfare of her family, friends, siblings and people whom they do not know.

But as a mom, we cannot do all the things in this world. We are not super human. We also need to attend some issues of our self. So that we will be able to face challenges and prepare at every situation that will come.

We have our own ways on how to perform our duties. We are sometimes shitty. We do a lot of things. We have lots of backlogs. And that is what they don’t understand.

Doing our own things doesn’t mean we are neglecting our family. It is the only time we collect our selves, reflect and the only communication to discern the inner most thoughts we have is to do it in our own approach.

Beauty Products from my Sis...

Part of our daily ritual, girls, is to moisturize our skin with the best facial skin care we know on a market. We love to moisturize our skin especially our “fezz” part para di maging thunders in the future. Kahit tight ang budget, we always make sure that we have something for our skin like lotions, cream and other anik anik we believe that it will make wonders to our appearance.

And I’m so blessed to have a very caring sister who worked abroad. Pag uuwe yan, asahan mo me pasalubong yan na moisturizer and other pampa beauty effect samin. 

Let me share with you my latest acquisition from her, hihihi…Im very excited to use all of these. Sana walang breakthrough mangyari sa fezz ko. 

It’s my first time to use Clinique and I felt “donya” kasi we all know that this brand is a bit expensive to buy. I’m so amazed, name pa lang nag fe feeling na ako na it will do “miracle” on me in 10 days daw. I was using this for three straight days, morning and evening regime ang schedule. When used in the morning, it caused a distinct shine on facial skin, kaya I apply make up to cover up the mirror-finished face. 

The drawback? Nagka pimple ako sa forehead! plus it becomes itchy. Syet, di ako sanay sa mamahalin.

Moroccan Argan Oil for hair—I love it! My hair becomes soft, silky and tangles free! And I’m sooo disappointed kasi wala pa nito ata sa pinas L sana meron, san naman kaya? 

Lastly, Orlane Super Moisturizing Concentrate. Try ko mamaya baka mas okay kesa sa Clinique.

Bye MJ...

Yesterday morning at around 5:45am, while the kids and I are doing our morning routine (dressing up for school and combing hairs) I heard a loud sigh from the outside. I was sitting near the window then. I thought it is just our helper so I didn’t mind asking. 

When the kids left at 6:30am, Ate S (our helper) said to us that our beloved pug dog is already dead…Oh, nooooo….si MJ yung narinig kong bumuntong hininga kanina!

Bakit? I asked. Matamlay ba sya kahapon? Di naman daw. Syet, ang sakit sa puso…

The Mister is also saddened. He kept on asking our helper what she observed the previous days. Normal naman. Walang premonitions or something that will bother us. He said na heat stroke daw malamang. From mainit na panahon bigla kasing umulan at lumamig. Change weather condition and di nakayanan ng 8 years old pug. Yan, yan ang effect ng climate change. Pati mga animals nag sa suffer.

Nakow! The kids…pano namin sasabihin eh nasa school na. Pano nila matatanggap na wala na si MJ? 

Me: Ate S, kami na magsasabi sa kids ha pag uwe naming.

Ate S: Eh ate dun dumederetso si N ke MJ pag baba ng service.

Me: I-divert mo muna sa iba, basta wag mong papupuntahin dun.

Ate S: Eh ate, pag nasa room sila, tinatawag nya sa bintana,pano kung di nila makita?

Me: Sabihin mo nakipag date kaya wala, basta bahala ka na.

The Mister asked our roving guard who happened to be walking that time to bury our dog near our garden outside. We borrowed tools pa sa kapitbahay like pala and pang hukay. We put MJ inside the old clothe I have and wrapped her in a large plastic. 

Syet talaga, nakakaiyak. Family member na rin kasi ang treatment namin sa mga alaga namin. Pati si husband lungkot na lungkot. 

Sa Men in Black the Movie na lang namin ikaw makikitang malakas. Alam naming proud na proud ka dahil nakasama mo dyan sina Tommy Lee Jones and Will Smith. Mamimiss namin ang big eyes mo and smelly odor mo dahil wala kang sweat glands. Pati pag snore mo bahang natutulog, wala na kaming ire record sa lakas ng hilik mo. 

 

We will surely miss you, MJ.

Fun Run and Turtle Neck....

The weather this morning is fine so I was about to jog sana for a few rounds. I’m already on my jogging outfit when I saw uniformed runners are making their way in front of our house. Nyek, me Fun Run ata, di ko alam today na pala yon. So I grabbed my camera and took some pictures of them.  

Nakakatuwa, some kids are also present with their matching uniforms. Some are walking na while the others are so energetic naman. Me nagbibigay rin ng water on one side of the street. 

Pano ako tatakbo? Makakagulo lang ako kaya nanood na lang muna. 

Mister   : Dapat nakatawa sila lahat…

Me         : Kasi Fun Run kaya dapat talaga nakatawa?...

After 20 minutes I took a shower na and dressed. Since malamig ang panahon, I decided to wear my turtle neck black shirt and my eldest daughter said…

N : Me snow? Me snow?

O kitam, ke babait kausap ano?

Magazzziiines...bow wow wow!

I’m currently hooked reading back issues magazines nowadays. Why the old one? It’s cheap, half of the original price, laking tipid but still informative. Plus when my kids need cut out pictures for their assignments at school, I don’t feel hurt slashing pages for them.

Before, I used to buy mags about fashion, housekeeping, home ideas, recipes and tipid tips. I love home decor ideas and how to organized clutters at home. You see, when you have three kids in a row you can imagine how messy your house will get. Of course I let them do all their stuff, it helps them to enhance their imaginations and skills but when they are finished with their work, that’s it. Rambol na ang mga gamit.

Back to my magazine issue.

These are my collections of it. Me health issues din and pang sports. Very useful and entertaining. 

May 2013 issue, and August na ngayon kaya I consider this as old na rin hehehe...

These are naman the mags that I used to cut pages for kids. I still keep them for future use.

And now, pang business naman ang binibili ko since last week. Feeling ko andito ang answers to all my prayers na yumaman, hehehehe, feeling lang.

Kaya Booksale, thank you sayo. Aside from it helps me to sleep fast at night while reading, it gives me a lot of opportunities how to stay in shape, business ideas, release stress, recharge my mind and refresh tired souls. Dig mo ba?
