Multivitamins and stress...

I tried to run yesterday morning but my body and spirit are not working together. Yep, I did run naman but one round lang then off na to the bat cave. Maybe it’s the cold wind that embraced me, or the painful leg that’s hurting more than a week, or maybe I don’t have enough sleep at night because of this gad-dam-good movie at HBO and Star Movies channel. Whatever.

At noon, I felt sluggish, my eyes are dropping to sleep and I can’t concentrate on what I’m doing that day. Hey, not yet. Im still at the office that time. Demerit ako pag nakita ako ni bossing, kaso low energy talaga.

Badtrip. This is not good. I should have all the energy para maging competent and productive ako all day. Think, think, think…

Blink!

I should take vitamins like Stresstab, tamaaaa?. So, off to a drugstore then buy 5 capsules muna.

And now, the verdict after taking it this morning? Buhay na buhay pa. Though sleepy na rin but compared to my previous days, grabe. Di mo na ako papakinabangan. Patay ang katawang lupa ko.

Time check: 9:33pm

Haay, so much to do. Thanks to the multivitamins, partner na tayo muna for the meantime, ha?

Love na kita…

Bukas ulit.

Crispy Pata, bow...

Oh my golly, I can’t open my blog wall for almost 5 days na ata pero pag nasa bahay naman ok sya. Hmmm, me problem sa internet connection at the office. Calling PLDT, our internet connections here is super slow and most of the sites are cannot be open, grrrrr.

We’ve spent our Sunday at home. H is not around so we weren’t able to attend mass, hayz…no drivers license yet. Im sorry po, Papa God.

Dinner time, H bought a large size CRISPY PATA from Pappus! Yummy treat!

Here, take a look…

from google

Franchise fee is Php 250,000 according to the lady owner of the store, we’re not sure what includes in that package because it is just an informal inquiry of the mister anyway. Hmmm, large amount of “moolah” ha?

OOTD muna...

I’m bringing back to life the OOTD of this section, yiiipeee!

Don’t worry, it won’t hurt your eyes every time you drop by seeing my outfit kasi every Saturday lang kami allowed to wear civilian clothes. So bale magiging 4x a month lang ang OOTD ko for sure.

Erase na natin muna yung January 4 ha?

Let’s start with my today’s outfit…

Slacks Pants: Chemistry, Polo Shirt: Nameless, Sandals: Mendrez, Belt: SM

I’m thinking also to add my kids outfit every Sunday when we go to mass, kaya lang tatlo yun. And my helper is having her day-off pag ganun araw so imagine how ngarag ako pag Sunday from morning til dinner time. I’m really skeptical if I can handle the pressure taking photos from preparing their bath, choosing their clothes to wear down to combing their hair. And I’m not sure din if kids will be able to cooperate with my activities like that.

Anyway, ako muna ang bida sa OOTD.

Goodluck to me…

Today is Thursday…whole day round ups

Guys!

Di ba I started to run last January 2-5, then two days rest then January 8 to kanina, takbo ulet. Actually, kagabi pa to, when we visited our company nurse who happened to have a breast cancer last December lang nadiscover (you wont believe me if I tell you that she’s only 44 years old and very healthy, hindi siya lalampa lampa or helpless tignanseparate post ko na lang yan, ha?). She noticed that I lost weight hehe..oy sa condition nya na yan I know di sya nagbibiro, divah!

And kaninang umaga, one of our employees here said the same thing! Plus a visitor of mine also said it…same words…yiiipeee! All out smile ang lola!
shocks, ang ganda ko hehe.... jooooke
Kaya I therefore conclude na mas effective sakin ang jogging sa morning with matching meal diet on a side. I’m very optimistic with my goal using this kind of regimen.

Magkaka bewang na din ako sa wakas! Mawawala na ang hotdog na nakahiga sa tyan ko, yahoo!

Gym?

Twenty minutes ago, the mister also announced that there will be a 5km marathon near our subdivision that San Sebastian College will sponsor. Php 400/head registration fee. Esep esep muna if kaya ko na yun. Sa January 29 pa naman yun.

Thanksgiving namin kanina. Every first Thursday of the month ang sked nito sa plant. After this, selected supervisors and of course the managers are required to eat all together our lunch at the GM’s office. Kasama ako siempre…(thanks boss!).

See, ang dami naming handa…

Lafang kung lafang, free meal ‘to eh. Bukas ibu-burn ko naman to ;-)

My Sambong Juice...

Sambong juice

One of my favorite juices of all time is Sambong juice. It is made up of sambong leaves only, no sweeteners like sugar or honey for me, boiled up in less than 5 minutes or less then viola!

from google
Ready to drink.

I was having a hard time with my UTi every year. I was scared really that it might leads into complications to my kidney. Aside from the antibiotic intake, sinasabayan ko ng pag inom nito. Plus the yearly check up of my urine to check if it is within the normal range. Nakakatakot kaya.

My previous house helper planted this miraculous plant outside our house and now parang gubat na sya sa lago. Twice a week I asked my helper to prepare me this. Parang naging routine ko na ring uminom nito. Though the taste is not that good, I just think na lang that it is good for my health.

And thank goodness, after two years of drinking this religiously, last November our annual physical check up shows good results! No UTi! Yahoooo!

So I make a pact to myself that even though I don’t have my “alaga” anymore, I will still continuously drink sambong juice twice a week just to make sure and for a healthier living na din.

Dami kayang benefits ng sambong, here basahin nyo…

================================================================

Excerpts from www.gourmet.com.ph

Sambong helps manage hypertension
Because of its diuretic property, sambong facilitates elimination of excess fluids and salt through the urine. It helps keep fluid and electrolyte balance to maintain normal blood pressure.

Sambong keeps the kidneys healthy
Studies have shown that sambong helps delay renal failure for those who are at risk. One way is by dissolving kidney stones through its flavonoid components. Kidney stones (urolithiases) are known risk factors for kidney failure.

Sambong fights cancer
Experiments have shown the ability of sambong to fight cancer cells, particularly in liver carcinoma and leukemia. Further studies are being conducted to consider the added benefits of including sambong in cancer treatments.

Sambong fights fungi and microbes
About 50 active components of sambong have been identified and they represent more than 99% of its total oil content. These components have antifungal and antimicrobial properties. They also have analgesic properties and help control fever.

Sambong relieves stomach ailments
Taken as tea, the leaves of sambong help control diarrhea and relieve stomach pains. Traditionally, sambong leaves are ground to a paste and applied to the stomach. The relief appear to be comparable.

Sambong is now registered and approved by the Food and Drug Administration as a medicine.

O di ba, ang galing galing!

Opkors, I also drink buko juice once in a while pag naka duty si manong sa kanto namin. Mas masarap talaga si buko pero kulang sakin ang isang fresh buko that cost us Php 20 na. And that will be my next post along with my detox juice din.

Gotta go! Kulugo…

Year end celebration at the office…

This is already a tradition to us, the so-called For the Boys Party or a year-end party to be more specific. Reason behind the title "For the Boys" is it where the boys of our company can enjoy drinking liquor, merry making thru singing the videoke and eat with bare hands.
our loyal and hardworking workers

Attendees are from the managers, down to supervisors and staff plus the regular workers.
beauties with the most artistic backdraft hehehe

I know you’ll think why, with this kind of situation we have in the Philippines, we were able to have two celebrations (Christmas Party and this). We're not apathetic and it is not our choice but the management did. Maybe they didn’t want us to feel the loneliness and emptiness when this type of season passes by. With all those hard work we’ve been through, I think we also deserve a little break just like this one. Don’t worry, the management and we employees already made an effort to donate to Tacloban’s victim when the great storm happened there.

It supposed to be happen on the last Saturday of December but because we still have the production operation that day, they moved it last January 4.

Lots of gifts like shirts, umbrellas, bags etc etc. from suppliers are given away. Walang umuwing luhaan. Lahat nakangiti. I got t-shirts but I donated it again para masaya sila especially the workers.

And the most awaiting part is the “boodle fight”!

Wala ng hiya hiya pag dating sa kainan, or else mauubusan ka.

Ang tanong, nag wash ba kayo ng mga kamay bago kumain?!?!?! Ang sagot? Lamang tyan din yan he he he...

Yum! Yum! Yum!

This is it!

Waaaaah!

Normal operation today and I’m starting to feel the pressure already at work. Tons of paper works, follow ups and research are lined up, haaaay.
BUT, but, but…I’m very happy, thankful and energetic!

Exercise helps my body to move fast really.

And most of all a simple prayer will uplift spirits and gives you more wisdom all through your day, promise…

Have a nice day to all out there…

Gotta go!
