My Schedule...

Monday, I was scheduled to jog in the morning but I was so sleepy and sluggish after I prepare the kids to school…it’s ok, l will hit the gym after office hour with the hubby.

I brought my gears at the office then.

5pm we’re off to the gym but we dropped first at the Lomihan to eat. As we were waiting for the food, I called the house to check the kids. B has a fever. Yaya already gave him paracetamol.

To make the story short, my schedule was cancelled again. I can’t concentrate doing my stuff while my kid needs me, so I went home after we ate.

Anyway, a slight fever and mild cough B are having. He already have the medicine and wasn’t able to attend his school since Tuesday. And all of his lab test (CBC and urinalysis) are all negative, Thank God...I’m not worried with my kids when they are sick because they already have flu vaccines that will last a year. And it is already a routine to have them vaccinated. And they are covered with MaxiCare Health Card but of course we don’t want to use it. Its okay to pay the yearly amount of health card basta wag lang me magkakasakit, di ba?

And most of all, the power of PRAYER, of course.

Don’t forget that.

Old Spagetti House and the Kwentuhan...

Almost a year ko ng niyaya si mister i-try itong resto na to. And almost a year na rin nya akong dine deadma. He said he’s not into pasta food, kaya baka masayang lang daw…Okaay. Hmp! Nakakabasag ng trip.

One day, I promised myself that I will eat there one time…promise.

So it happened last month, with my sister and her li’l kid. I ordered the White Sauce pasta Mylenes Creamy Pinoy pasta with garlic longganiza, Caesars salad single for my kapatid and Colossal choco dip ala mode for the kid that took about 30 minutes to bake!

At first taste of my food, I was a bit disappointed because of the parang malansa taste. Maybe it is because of the longganiza but in the end naubos ko naman. I think when you’re eating it na continuously, nawawala yung pangit na taste. Basta ganun.

The salad naman is ok lang, no big deal. What I liked most is the Colossal choco dip ala mode, sweet and crunchy. Ang tagal lang talaga i-bake, really.

Anyway, here’s a kwentuhan with my kids about the late Tado…

Me : Ace, kilala mo ba si Tado? Yung naka eyeglass na malaki and long hair?

Ace: Opo

Me ; Namatay na sya, nahulog yung bus na sinasakyan nya..

Ace:  San nahulog? Sa balon? Sa balon mommy?

*** Balon agad, anak.

Me: Anak, kilala mo ba si Tado? Yung naka eyeglass na malaki and long hair?

Basti : Opo

That’s it.

Valentines Day...

Where did we spent our Valentines? Late na to make a kwento hihihi…okay lang yan, atleast me pagchi chismisan pa.

The hubby and his drinking buddy, lets call him na lang “parekoy”, decided to take us wives in Laong-Laan Resto Bar. Okaaaay, I said. I’m not that excited to have a date kasi we all know that Feb. 14 is a very hectic and traffic. Kaso I’m sure magtatampong pururot naman pag pinakansel ko, di ba? Plus I’ve been there last year and the place is not that appealing to me. Anyway, pagbigyan na nga…

So there, 9pm off to the said resto. Jam pack ang area, kitam. Buti na lang the British owner named Jeff pulled out another table for us right in front of the stage!
Bwenas nga naman. Pero they are all staring at us hihi, di ko alam kung dahil sa beauty ko or dahil sa special treatment, well sana sa beauty ko na lang hehehe...joke.

We ordered a bucket of San Mig light, Red Horse, Lechon kawali that looks like a porkchop, Crispy pata and calamares. The band that night played well. They sang good old songs kasi nga  most of the audiences that night are thunders na along with their respective families. Valentines day eh kaya celebrate it with your loved ones ika nga…family.

Everybody is welcome to sing at the stage that night. In fairness me boses sila lahat. Nakakatuwa.
When everybody are already drunk and in their happy mood, the hubby and I along with the another couple danced in front of the stage! It is not that I love to dance sweet but the fun of having my body moves with the others is like new to me. Nakakatuwa talaga. Nabanat face ko sa kaka smile hehe.

Hey, the mister also danced with the waitress there! When the hubby approached the girl, di malaman ng girl kung sasayaw kaya she asked me if its okay…Haay naku, inday, sayong sayo na yan kung pwede lang hahaha!

We ended the night at around 3am, wow! Me pasok pa kami that day.

So far my drinking session este valentines date with the hubby and the rest of the group is very refreshing and fun. Our bill cost us only Php 1800. Ok na ano?

That’s how we spent our Valentines day…

Ang good thing I have Lemon-Cucumber juice at the ref, it helps me ease the hang-over and overcome the puyat. Parang wala lang nangyari.

That’s it…

Next year? Waaah iba naman please…

Food Trip...bow

I’ve been hibernating for so long, ‘no?

Yeah. Lots of actions passed by and I wasn’t able to blog all of it here! My golly…I felt bad, really.

Haaaaay buhay.

Anyway, let’s start with this muna, the El Bonito’s Pizza! Tadan!

looks yummy ano?

This was a pasalubong from a friend months ago for us in the office. She bought it in Waltermart Makiling. The taste? Nah, very bland, need more salt, spices and pepper to flavor. The cheese is not that cheesy, too. Ang kapal pa ng bread. Given that this is just a pasalubong, we’re thankful naman for the merienda that day.

This is what they call “Valenciana” in Bulacan. It is made of gata, malagkit, chicken and a little dash of atsuete daw. Our boss cooked this in his rice cooker and viola! Teka teka, nung isang araw lang I saw the rice cooker with hot water in it and I was told that it will be used in a foot spa…yucky! Hinugasan naman siguro hehe.

Another food to share is this…They call it “Okoy sa Tabi-tabi” hehehe…made of kalabasa and veggies inside. You will dip this in vinegar to match. You can buy it in cariton-like food cart near the church and plaza and will cost you Php 8/pc only. Mabubusog ka na. Thanks to one of our boss who introduced this super cheap but tasty merienda really.

Ayan, three foods in a row agad. Di halatang mahilig kumain hehe.

Let’s accept the fact that we love to eat, we love to taste new food, we love to explore our tongue to different taste, di ba? It comforts us. But sometimes or may I say most of the times the guilt feeling crossed us after eating especially when our pants zipper is not cooperating and the baby fats (hehe) around our waist is getting noticed. Aray ko.

Bahala na si batman, basta ako kakain. And mage exercise, hehe. Weh?
